Welcome to Introduction to Visual Basic.NET. In this class we will be exploring the newest version of Microsoft's Visual Basic language that uses the .NET system. We will begin with installing the compiler or IDE, and by the end of the course we will have learned how to build complete user interfaces, and be able to code for them.

Course Objectives
- Students will be able to use Visual Basic.NET to build and run a basic application.
- Students will be able to create a Visual Basic .NET Windows form application that uses a button, label and textBox objects.
- Students will be able to write a Visual Basic .NET application that uses variables, if statements, and select case statements.
- Students will be able write Visual Basic .NET application that use functions, subroutines, for loops and do loops.
- Students will be able to define and use classes in their Visual Basic .NET applications.
- Students will be able to use Visual Basic .NET development environment to debug applications.
- Students will be able to build Visual Basic .NET applications that use combo box, list box, check box, radio buttons, and tabs.
- Students will be able to create a Visual Basic .NET application that uses multiple forms with parent and child forms.
- Students will be able to create Visual Basic .NET applications that use dialog boxes, menus, tool bars, status bars and help.
- Students will be able to create a Visual Basic application using what they have learned in this course.
